The Muslim Quarter is a carnival for the senses. Narrow alleys hum with vendors flipping lamb skewers over charcoal, their smoke curling around Arabic calligraphy on shop signs. This neighborhood has been a melting pot of Silk Road cultures, where Arabic influences mingle with Chinese traditions. Follow the scent of cumin-spiced lamb skewers and freshly baked naan to street stalls brimming with local delicacies like Biangbiang noodles. Squeeze past baskets of saffron and star anise to reach a family-run stall, where biangbiang noodles are slapped onto boards and drenched in chili oil.
