People's Park, or Renmin Park, is Chengdu's first public park, established in 1911. Spanning over 112,000 square meters, it features lush gardens, an artificial lake, historic monuments, and the renowned Heming Teahouse, providing visitors with a glimpse into local life and leisure.

Located in the heart of Chengdu, People's Park (Renmin Park) serves as a dynamic blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and daily local activities. Established in 1911 as Shaocheng Park, it holds the distinction of being the city's first public park. Today, it encompasses approximately 112,639 square meters, making it the largest green space in downtown Chengdu. The park is home to the Monument to the Martyrs of the Railway Protection Movement, commemorating the 1911 protest that played a pivotal role in the Xinhai Revolution, leading to the fall of the Qing Dynasty.
